A 1972 lounge chair by Marcello Minale, evolved from the 1968 Castiglia he co-designed with Achille Castiglioni for Zanotta. Reimagined decades later by his son Massimo in solid chrome and hand-stitched Italian leather.

Ultra comfortable - with a soft padded hand-stitched leather cushion, made to age beautifully over time.
Over-sized chrome frame - a sculptural 70s silhouette finished with solid brass detailing.
Adjustable and replaceable - the seat cover swaps out to future proof the chair, in Black or Tan leather.

The Castiglia, co-designed with Achille Castiglioni for Zanotta, became my dad's lounge chair for a Milano showroom. I grew up sitting in it. Today it returns with a deep, hand-finished Italian leather cushion and a frame that assembles from just eight screws.

Great size and v.comfortable

We've had designer chairs before but this is by far the most comfortable. It feels supportive without being firm and looks incredible from every angle.
